What Type of Baby Are You Going To Have?
That really is the question isn’t it? Are you going to have a boy or a girl? Predicting baby gender isn’t something that is incredibly easy, but one can do it.
What’s great about these methods is that you don’t need:
- Take ANY medications
- No Urine Sticks to figure out your cycle
- No Vaginal Douche Treatments
- Make countless trips to the doctors office
If you’re at all interested, I highly recommend you pick up the Pick the Gender of Your Baby guide and take the first step in having that girl or boy in your family!
Determining baby gender by IVF, PGD (Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis) is illegal in the UK and most of Europe. Many UK parents go abroad with the hope of bringing back a pink or blue bundle using this method. This however poses the question of having the treatment abroad and then bringing your unborn boy or girl back to the UK to be cared for. Not to mention the drain on the already strained NHS.
In most countries PGD is mainly used for medical reasons. For example, if there was a genetic disease which runs only in girls, couples would be allowed to have PGD to implant only male embryos.
Determining baby gender with PGD can almost be 100% guaranteed. However, the usual IVF issues apply -you only have 30-35% chance of actually becoming pregnant and the cost could be anything up to $20,000 per attempt. This method has been around since 1989.
Alternatively, I’ve found this book that will predict your child’s gender.
